Walmart announced Monday that it will sell the iPhone 4 for $147 at select stores from now until June 30, reports “PC Magazine” (http://macte.ch/5qTdg).

The price drop applies to the AT&T and Verizon Wireless versions of the Apple smartphone, as well as black and white models. Users will be required to sign up for a two-year wireless and data agreement with either carrier to get the $147 price.

Walmart currently only sells the 16GB version of the iPhone 4 in black and white. Both are listed for $197 on the Walmart Web site, but are “out of stock online,” notes “PC Magazine.”
