Softpress’ (http://www.softpress.com) web design application, Freeway 5.5 Express, is now available in the Mac App Store. Pitched at the consumer/home user market, it’s being offered at a special introductory price of US$29.99.
Freeway Express requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or higher and is based on a DTP application, not an HTML editor. This means it works like any drag and drop application. And there’s no need to know HTML.
What’s more, Softpress offers a free download of its Freeway companion Showcase gallery and slideshow app to all Mac App Store Express purchasers. Showcase lets you create a gallery or slideshow from scratch in minutes, with thousands of fully-customizable option, says Softpress Managing Director Richard Logan.
