Textco BioSoftware has released an upgraded version of their DNA plasmid mapping software, Gene Construction Kit (GCK 3.5), for Mac OS X (10.4 and higher) and Windows.
In anticipation of the pending Apple operating system upgrade, this GCK release is compatible with Mac OS 10.7 Lion. Also, version 3.5 takes full advantage of the processors found inside the Intel Macs and is completely updated to Universal Binary, according to the folks at Textco.
A free upgrade is being offered to current GCK 3.0 license holders.
