JixiPix has released VintageScene 2.0 (http://www.jixipix.com/vintage-scene/vintage-scene.html), an update of the retro photography application. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later and costs US$7.99, though version 2.0 9 is a free update for registered users.
VintageScene is software for converting new photographs into retro, aged, and vintage style effects. With it you can take total control over the age, fade, distress, weathering, and tint of photos, assign paper age and color, choose an overlay or border to accentuate the age of the photo, add details, and more. Version 2.0 adds a new user interface, as well as a new effect called “Faded Time” that recreates a photograph that has been faded and severely weathered.
With VintageScene, you can emulate looks from the early 1800s all the way through current times. You can also: control the age and color of a photo; assign paper age and color; choose an overlay or border to accentuate the age of the photo and add details; save presets for any custom designed look; add a randomize effect to get a unique look; and create a number of combinations with over 60 built-in presets.
