The iPad 2 is in short supply in Britain, days after hundreds of folks lined up outside Apple stores across the country to get their hands on the new tablet computer, reports “The Telegraph” (http://macte.ch/6gUkF).
Apple could not confirm that the iPad 2 is out of stock nationwide because there might be limited supplies at certain stores. However, none of the Apple stores that “The Telegraph” called Monday morning had any in stock.
In a statement, Apple said: “Demand for the next generation iPad 2 has been amazing. We are working hard to get iPad 2 into the hands of every customer who wants one as quickly as possible.”
