Soundmatters (http://www.soundmatters.com) is delivering foxLv2 Bluetooth, a wireless, portable speaker for the iPad. The US$199 speaker measures 5.6 x 2.2 x 1.5 inches.
The foxLv2 boasts eight hours of rechargeable battery-time, and features a full range of audio output from 80Hz-20kHz. It features patented dual 1-inch Linear Magnetic Drive “Twoofers,” patented “BassBattery” technology that turns the battery into a woofer for deeper bass, and a “DomeForward”driver alignment and high-transparency acoustic grill .
The foxLv2 has a built-in, noise canceling microphone and supports Bluetooth music streaming. It even shows up in the iPad’s AirPlay menu.
