Apple has released firmware updates for its 27-inch iMacs. You can obtain the updates via the Software Update component of Mac OS X’s Systems Preferences app.

27-inch iMac EFI FW Update 1.0 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1031) is recommended for all quad-core Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors 27-inch iMacs. This 2.1MB update requires Mac OS X 10.6.3.

Analysts up their price target for Apple stock

Apple will announce its latest financial results on Tuesday, April 20. And two analysts have upped their price target for the company’s stock.

As reported by AppleInsider (http://www.appleinsider.com), Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster is predicting sales of 7.5 million iPhones for the first quarter of calendar 2010 and 2.9 million Macs. Those would be year-over-year growth increases of 93% and 39%, respectively. Munster has raised his price target to US$299.
