Mailplane for Mac OS X flies to version 2.2.1

Uncomplex gmbh has released Mailplane 2.2.1 (http://mailplaneapp.com), a new version of the Google Mail client for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds support for two-factor Gmail authentication.

Acting as a site specific web browser for Google’s Gmail, Mailplane is a full fledged Mail client for the Desktop. It integrates the Gmail web interface into the Mac experience. It supports multiple Gmail and Google Apps accounts and lets you switch between accounts without the need to sign in/sign out from the Gmail accounts.

GraphicConverter update improves 1080p scaling

Lemke Software has updated Graphic Converter (http://www.lemkesoft.com/index.html), an image editing tool for Mac OS X, to version 7.0.1. The new version lets you scale to 1080p with and without a border added. Also, Japanese localization has been added.

GraphicConverter converts pictures to different formats and has tools for picture manipulation. With it you can import about 200 graphic file formats and export approximately 80 graphic file formats. It’s a Universal Binary product, so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

YummySoup for Mac OS X heats up to version 2.0.7

HungrySeacow Software has updated YummySoup (http://www.hungryseacow.com), its recipe management software for Mac OS X, to version 2.0.7. You can now drag and drop images from the image boxes right into your directions. There’s also a new Command-Up and Command-Down to create ingredients in the recipe editor.

YummySoup! 2.0.7 sells for US$30, but version 1.x owners can upgrade for $10. Version 2.0.7 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x. A 15-day demo is available at the HungrySeacow Software web site.
