Future Sonics (http://www.FutureSonics.com) has announced the new Atrio Special Edition (ASE) professional earphones. They’re equipped with Future Sonics’ proprietary studio-grade dynamic driver.

The multi-driver and cross-over free ASE’s provide remarkable full range audio for use on stage, in-studio, or with your personal MP3 and multimedia pads and players, says Futer Sonics co-founder Marty Garcia. The ASE’s are available for US$229.

Intego (http://www.intego.com) says it has discovered a Mac version of the Koobface worm, which spreads via social networks such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. The company sys its Virus Monitoring Center has been examining this malware for some time, and given the low level of risk, has not publicly issued information about it.

O’Reilly Media has released “iPod: The Missing Manual, Ninth Edition” (http://oreilly.com/catalog/0636920010142) by J. D. Biersdorfer. It’s 304 pages and costs US$15.99 for the ebook edition and $19.99 for the print version.
