In August, the Monterey College of Law in Santa Cruz, California became the first in the country to integrate iPads into its bar-review curriculum, which helps students prepare for the California State Bar. I am amused to read the ravings of clueless tech sorts like the court jester of high tech writers Dvorak, who are normally so very wrong about Apple and its products. A lot of PC minions are clamoring for news that iPad is cannibalizing Macs sales. That does not seem to be supported by the numbers. Mac, iPhones and iPads are all flying off the shelf.

Why am I gaga over Partigen? Because it gives me total control over every facet of particle creation, emission, and lifespan. If I can’t produce the effect I want in the interface, I dig under the hood by writing code in ActionScript, the programming language of Flash.
