Having problems getting an iPad to join or rejoin an Wi-Fi network? Apple has posted a KnowledgeBase article (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3304) on the matter.

Apple says that, under certain conditions, iPad may not automatically rejoin a known Wi-Fi network after restart or waking from sleep. This can occur with some third-party Wi-Fi routers that are dual-band capable when using the same network name for each network or using different security settings for each network. If you encounter this issue, try the following:

Freeridecoding has updated SmartBackup (http://freeridecoding.com/smartbackup), a Mac OS X app for lightweight backups, to version 3.0. The upgrade sports a revamped interface, a new mode to support folder syncing and improved performance.

SmartBackup performs backups to hard drives, network sharepoints, webDAV, USB sticks and iPods. BaKno has released Unlocker 1.2.0 (http://www.bakno.com/Unlocker/), an update to its free utility that automatically unlocks trial versions of games for the Mac or PC after purchase from its online store.

The free Unlocker utility saves customers the time and trouble of entering a User ID and Key Code, required to go from limited to full game functionality, according to BaKno President Andres Martinez. They need only click the link contained in their purchase confirmation email, and Unlocker automatically and permanently unlocks their new game.
