NewBay Media, a publisher of digital content creation media, today announced conference program details for next month’s Digital Video Expo (http://www.dvexpo.com) being held at the Pasadena Convention Center Sept. 28-30. The event will gather thousands of content creation professionals for three days of comprehensive education sessions, training, networking, and exhibitions.
Produced by the editors of “DV” and “Videography” magazines, along with partner publications “Broadcasting & Cable,” “Multichannel News” and “TV Technology, “Digital Video Expo offers attendees a multi-tiered educational program that will focus on a number of key topics critical to the success of video professionals. Events include: Apple color training; a full day lighting workshop, a full day HDSLR filmmaking workshop; a full day digital cinematography workshop; a Web & Mobile Video conference track; a 3D Production conference track; “Where 3D Meets Hollywood,” a television industry leadership session; Canon 5D training; and a file-based workflow strategy session.
Educational highlights include certification training in Apple Final Cut Pro 7, as well as instruction on Adobe CS5 and Avid Media Composer 5, from Weynand Training International, a series of Lighting Master Classes, and technology showcases from Panasonic, Canon and JVC.
