Apple released iMovie 1.0.1 for the iPhone 4 with fixes that address stability issues in the version of the movie editing app for the latest version of the smartphone.

The iMovie app for iPhone lets you combine movie clips, add dynamic transitions and themes and include photos and music, and users can buy it for US$4.99 through the App Store right on their phone. Version 1.0.1 improves reliability when exporting movies that contain photos was improved, and an issue with music playback in projects was fixed.

The update also includes additional performance and reliability improvements, according to Apple. It’s a free update for registered users.
