EmirBytes has announced Splash Factory 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch platform, utilizing the touch interface. It’s $2.99 level app for splashing colors on your photos. It boasts a color/object selection method whereby users can mix either selection by shades of color and/or by area definition.

OANDA Corp., a provider of online forex trading, has released fxTrade, a free iPad app. It shows several dynamic views of market data on a single screen so traders can make fast trading decisions.

Shura Network Corp. has announced Photo Video Locker 1.1 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users. This $1.99 privacy application locks videos and photos away from prying eyes, yet enables the user to store images securely to be retrieved by entering a password. With Photo Video Locker all secured images are hidden behind a dummy theme and background, and decoy photo area. Without knowing the password, onlookers will only see what the owner wants them to see.

Light Switch Applications has released My Groups 1.2 for iPhone devices. The $4.99 app “eases the burden of Contact List Monotony while streamlining and organizing your contacts in one easy to navigate format.”

Parallel Focus has launched Pay Off Debt 1.2.3 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $2.99 app is designed to help consumers repay creditors systematically faster using the debt snowball method. Once one debt is gone, the monthly amount that previously went toward it is added to the minimum payment of the next debt, and so on. New features just released in the latest Pay Off Debt update means users can now record custom payments and optionally have the app issue payment reminders.

The Tiffen Company has updated their $5.99 app for the iPad, Photo fx Ultra, a photo enhancement software app.The update increases file resolution from 2048 pixels to 3072 x 3072 pixels for even greater image quality.  

BCNmultimedia has unveiled Children’s Bible 1.4, an update to their free app for iPhone OS. Each week the app provides free access to a different full color Children’s Bible comic book, presenting a classic story from the Old or New Testament. It’s published in seven languages.

Humble Daisy has released SonicPics 1.4 an update to its mobile recording tool to support several features in iOS 4. SonicPics is a tool for creating and narrating custom photo slide shows on the iPhone or iPod touch. Version 1.4 now works with fast app switching, while adding high-resolution icons that take advantage of the iPhone 4’s 960 x 640 display. SonicPics costs $2.99, though there’s also a free, featured-limited “lite” version.
