V Software has unveiled KidKeys 1.0 for the iPad. It’s a $0.99, colorful, custom keyboard that connects with your computer and makes it easy for kids to type. KidKeys can be used with any word processing program, for e-mails or inside your child’s favorite games.

Frozen Giant has freed Tucker Ray In: Rednecks vs. Zombies, a $1.99 iPhone/iPod touch game in which redneck Tucker Ray tries to rescue his sweetheart Bobby Sue from the undead horde armed only with a shotgun, unlimited ammo … and occasionally an exploding squirrel launcher.

Appular has produced Hand of Greed for iPhone, a $0.99 iPhone/iPod touch action game that “pits players’ reflexes against devilishly fast blades, providing intense gameplay that electrifies the senses.”

Humble Daisy has unveiled an update (version 1.3) to its mobile recording tool, SonicPics ($2.99) and its free counterpart SonicPics Lite 1.3. SonicPics is a tool for creating and narrating custom photo slide shows on the iPhone or iPod touch. It lets you use images from the iPhone’s photo library or built in camera. The update includes support for device rotation when making recordings as well as several bug fixes.

Wave Study Bible has produced Wave Study Bible 1.0.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app comes with four Bible versions, so you can see all of the versions side by side aligned by verse.

TimeStream Software has released Disneyland Secrets Gold! 1.0, a $1.99 Notescast app for the iPhone and iPod touch. It has over110 “secrets,” complete with more than 100 photos, that allow guests to experience Disneyland. has updated ProCamera, an iPhone photography app, to version 2.7. The $2.99 app enables users to “utilize their iPhone without limitations, transforming it into a high-end digital camera with full-resolution picture processing and the ease of a snapshot-camera.”
