ClipWrap for Mac OS X adds AVCHD support

Divergent Media has released ClipWrap 2.0
(http://www.clipwrap.com/overview.php), an update of the US$49.95,
Mac OS X utility that “rewraps” the video samples from your existing
m2t files without re-encoding them for quick conversion speeds and no
image degradation. The new version adds AVCHD support.

ClipWrap converts m2t, mts, and m2ts video files into QuickTime
movies for editing in iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and Avid.

QNAP expands Turbo NAS line-up

QNAP Systems (http://www.qnap.com) has expanded their Turbo NAS
lineup with the addition of the TS-410U rack-mounted NAS server
targeted specifically at the SMB and workgroup market segments.

The TS-410U features four hot-swappable SATA hard drives with up to
8TB of total capacity (with 2TB drives) packaged in an 1U
rack-mounted chassis. The TS-410U supports 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard
drives.

ImageModeler now available to additional Autodesk subscription

Users of the following Autodesk software products can now obtain a
license of image-based modeling and photogrammetry software, Autodesk
ImageModeler 2009, when they purchase Autodesk Subscription: Autodesk
Revit Architecture; Autodesk Revit Structure; Autodesk RevitR MEP;
AutoCAD Map 3D; AutoCAD Civil 3D; AutoCAD Architect; and AutoCAD MEP.

Clients can download ImageModeler 2009 free of charge directly from
their respective Subscription center.

PanzerCAD releases CameraMatch 2010 for the Vectorworks line of

Nemetschek North America says that PanzerCAD has upgraded its
CameraMatch plug-in to be compatible with the Vectorworks 2010 line
of products. This tool allows Vectorworks software users to align a
3D view to an existing photograph.

Other features in CameraMatch 2010 include a streamlined Tune View
dialog with the addition of a “live slider” that allows view tuning
in real time. The user will be able to tune faster and more
intuitively, says Matt Panzer, president of PanzerCAD Services.

TuneWear (http://www.tunewear.com) is shipping VisualDock, an
US$79.95 AV docking station with a remote control for the iPhone and
iPod. Complete with S-video and line outputs, it lets you set up and
enjoy movies, photos and music stored in your Apple device by
connecting VisualDock to a television or stereo.

S-Video and AV cables are included. A special 3D like sound effect
button adds a new dimension to the stereo sound.
