Feral Interactive (http://www.feralinteractive.com) has launched its
own demo download area and is hosting its own demo server to expand
the reach of its products. In addition, the area launches with a
number of new demos.

The site allows consumers to download via BitTorrent or via a direct
download. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing communications
protocol. Users can download the demos using a BitTorrent client
program. If a direct download isn’t available yet, it’s likely a
brand new demo, and Feral provide a direct link in the near future.

Independent game developers at the Mac games and reviews website,
Macgames.org, have announced the release of their first game, a new
tennis game for the Mac, Smashing Tennis
(http://www.macgames.org/smashing-tennis/). It costs US$9.95

Here’s how the game is described: “Smashing Tennis was created with a
specific focus: to make a game challenging and entertaining for avid,
arcade tennis players.

Apple has introduced the all-new iPod shuffle, the world’s smallest
music player at nearly half of the size of the previous model, and
the “first music player that talks to you.” It’s VoiceOver feature
enables iPod shuffle to speak your song titles, artists and playlist
names.

The third generation iPod shuffle is smaller than a AA battery, holds
up to 1,000 songs and has all of the controls located on the earphone
cord. With the press of a button, you can play, pause, adjust volume,
switch playlists and hear the name of the song and artist.

MultiServer MFA100S, a multi-function server for small office/home
office (SOHO) and medium enterprise (SME) environments. MultiServer
MFA1000S offers diverse functionalities like email, anti-virus,
anti-spam, firewall, Quality of Service (QoS), Multi Router Traffic
Grapher (MRTG), voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), SMS, system
recovery etc.

Mac compatible, it also functions as web server, email server, FTP
server, PHP MySQL server, NAT server, Samba server, DHCP server, DNS
server and Dynamic DNS server.

Newer Technology (http://www.newertech.com) has released a new
version of its miniStack, a hub storage solution that now features up
to 1.5TB of storage.

The miniStack has FireWire 400, FireWire 800, USB 2.0 and eSATA
interfaces.
