Bare Bones ships WeatherCal, a weather forecasting app

Bare Bones Software has released WeatherCal
(http://www.barebones.com/products/weathercal/), a new Mac utility
that adds current weather conditions and four-day forecast to iCal on
the Mac and to the iPhone or iPod touch.

“WeatherCal is very different from BBEdit and Yojimbo, the class
leaders for which we’re known, but it’s every bit as useful and

Vonage Pro now compatible with Macs

Vonage

launched a Mac compatible version of Vonage Pro — a digital
extension of the Vonage phone service, featuring five components that
let users take their home phone number anywhere they go on their

number while they’re on the go. Customers can even use their Mac’s
built-in speakers and microphone, and can benefit from features such
as selective call block, conference calling, personalized ringtones
and call recording.

Global Delight Releases WordDigest for the iPhone

Global Delight — a publisher of Mac, iPhone and iPod products — has
released its first mobile application for the iPhone. WordDigest is
an English dictionary, thesaurus and spell checker tool all
integrated into one app.

WordDigest has built in dictionary containing more than 147,000
words, IPA pronunciations for 87,000 words, built-in hyperlinked
thesaurus for more than 28,000 words and built-in hyperlinked
intelligent spell checker.
