BackPack is metal shelf designed for the iMac, Cinema Display

Twelve South (http://twelvesouth.com) has introduced BackPack, a
shelf designed specifically to fit the iMac and Cinema Displays. As
the name suggests, the perforated metal shelf attaches to the back of
Macs and can be used to store hard drives, hubs, iPods and other Mac
peripherals.

It’s available at Apple stores and online for US$29.95. The BackPack
uses two adjustable clips and gravity to literally perch on the desk
stand of iMacs and Cinema Displays.

iHome ships the iP1 speaker system for the iPod, iPhone

iHome has released the iP1 Speaker System for iPod/iPhone. It’s the
first product introduced in the company’s new Studio Series which
features Bongiovi Acoustics’ Digital Power Station (DPS) technology.

It sports a processor that actively scans the recorded material and
compensates for any deficiencies across the audio frequency spectrum,
effectively restoring it to the sound the artist originally intended
to be heard, according to Evan Stein, vice president of Marketing,

Intelligent Assistance releases new Sequence Reporting Tool

Intelligent Assistance has add yet another metadata workflow tool to
their range: the Sequence Clip Reporter, which is designed for
producers or editors who have to generate clip or music reports of
completed documentary programs.

Sequence Clip Reporter takes an XML export from your finished, edited
Final Cut Pro Sequence and generates a video clip usage report; or
audio clip usage report (for selected tracks). Both reports are
formatted as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
