3.0. It now integrates the capabilities of both Mathematica 6 and 7 with
the latest web server technology

WebMathematica 3 is the deployment technology that makes Wolfram|Alpha,

Bruce Sewell to join Apple as general counsel, Senior VP

Bruce Sewell to join Apple as general counsel, senior vice president

Apple has announced that Bruce Sewell, formerly senior vice president and
general counsel of Intel, will join Apple as the company’s general counsel
and senior vice president, Legal and Government Affairs, reporting to Apple
CEO Steve Jobs. Daniel Cooperman, who has served in these roles at Apple
for the past two years, will be retiring at the end of September.

“We are thrilled to have Bruce join our executive team, and wish Dan a very
happy retirement,” says Jobs.

Default Folder X beefs up support for Snow Leopard

St. Clair Software has updated Default Folder
(http://www.stclairsoft.com/DefaultFolderX/index.html), its utility
for enhancing Open and Save dialogs in Mac OS X, to version 4.3.1.
The upgrade improves support for Apple’s new Mac OS 10.6 “Snow
Leopard,” as well as adding options and improving compatibility in
Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5.

For users of both Snow Leopard and Leopard, compatibility has been
improved in Final Cut Pro, QuickTime Player and other applications
that export using QuickTime.
