Digital connectivity solutions provider, Gefen
(http://www.gefen.com), will demonstrate several upgrades to existing
connectivity solutions and a brand new product line designed to ease
home entertainment system installations at the upcoming CES 2010.

“While we continue building a strong back-end for high definition
audio/video systems, we are also focusing on further enhancing
already proven technologies,” says Hagai Gefen, president and CEO,
Gefen “This has led us to the development of a new product line,
Gefen ToolBox, for installers working in the field.”

The ToolBox offers compact installation tools for plug and play
system installation and operation. Products come in metallic
enclosures that can be mounted on any wall where hi-def audio/video
systems are implemented.

These “mini” solutions include all connection cables for immediate
installation, with HDMI connectors equipped with a locking mechanism
to eliminate cable disconnects. Initial products packaged under the
ToolBox line include a selection of audio/video switchers, splitters,
extenders and cables for systems using the HDMI v1.3 or 1.4 formats.

Gefen will also be showing its third wireless high definition video
extension solution, the GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 60Ghz extender, the
first to deliver uncompressed 1080p/60 full HD video with
multi-channel audio up to 30 feet in distance with no cables required.

Attendees are invited to stop by Gefen’s booth (21722) in the South
Hall at CES during expo hours to see demonstrations of all the new
solutions.
