Autodesk is participating in the International Broadcast Equipment
Exhibition (Inter BEE) in Chiba, Japan, Nov. 18-20. The company will
show a technology preview of its Autodesk Smoke editorial finishing
software running on the Mac OS X platform.

This will be the first time an Autodesk finishing product has been
designed to run on the Mac platform. Smoke benefits from many of the
advanced visual effects tools in Autodesk Flame software, as well as
the ability to conform from EDLs, AAF, and Apple Final Cut Pro XML
files.

Autodesk is also showcasing its latest visual effects, finishing,
color grading and animation solutions for television, film and
commercial post-production. Autodesk Inter BEE 2009 theme is
