JMR to showcase BlueStor PeSAN storage products

JMR Electronics (http://www.jmr.com), a provider of scalable storage
systems for video and data intensive applications, will showcase
their new line of BlueStor PeSAN RAID storage solutions at the 2008
DV Expo in Los Angeles, Nov. 5-6.

WD speeds up My Passport Studio drive with FireWire 800 interface

Western Digital (http://www.westerndigital.com) has added a
high-speed FireWire 800 interface to its My Passport Studio portable
drive. With FireWire 800/400 and USB interfaces, the new My Passport
Studio portable drives offer up to 500GB of storage capacity, are
formatted for Mac computers and weigh less than seven ounces.

A built-in, illuminated capacity gauge tells users how much space is
available in the drive and, because it’s powered by the FireWire or
USB connection, it’s truly portable.

NELiX TransaX releases FleXPort

Several months ago NELiX TransaX (http://www.nelixtransax.com)
released the NELiX TransaX FleXPort Toolkit and now it’s released the
TransaX FleXPort.

The Toolkit contains documentation and a suite of examples to assist
developers with integrating payment processing (credit card and ACH
acceptance) within the applications they build.
With the release of NELiX TransaX FleXPort 2.0, NELiX TransaX has
added FileMaker support, according to Vice President Adam O’Hare. The
