Nisus Software today announced the release of Nisus Writer Pro 1.0.3 and Nisus Writer Express 3.0.2. These new releases, which are free to existing users of Pro and Express 3, fix some image display and footnote issues. Nisus Writer Pro 1.0.3 is available for US$79, while an upgrade from Express costs $45. Nisus Writer Express and Nisus Writer Pro are universal binary applications and each require Mac OS 10.3.9 or later (Mac OS X 10.4 recommended).

Markzware announces settlement agreement in patent case

Markzware has announced that Enfocus/Artwork has entered into a settlement agreement for its part in the patent infringement lawsuit Civil Action No. SACV07-461-JVS, filed in the Central District of California in May of 2007. Technologies at issue included preflight products as described in the ‘641 patent. The agreement resolves all pending litigation between the companies. Details of the settlement are confidential, says the company.

Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Version 4.1 offers additional repair capabilities
