Phidgets has updated its PhidgetTemperatureSensor for Mac OS X. The
new version of the 1051 shows improvements in both reliability and
accuracy through the addition of on-board filtering, cold junction
compensation and optimized calibration methods. The upgrade replaces
the previous version of the product.

Users can program Phidgets using an application programming interface
(API) supported under Mac OS X. Users can write programs in C, Java,
ActionScript 3.0, and Cocoa. Phidgets also provides programming
examples for all its products to help programmers write their own
programs. The API Libraries as well as the examples and the
