St. Clair Software is happy to announce the release of Default Folder
X 4.0.8 (http://www.stclairsoft.com/DefaultFolderX/index.html), a
compatibility update for our award-winning utility for enhancing Open
and Save dialogs.
Default Folder X 4.0.8 is a free update that corrects problems that
users have reported when using Bias Peak and QuickBooks Pro. It also
adds to Default Folder X’s “recent folder” tracking, keeping tabs on
files and folders that you drag onto applications in the Dock. These
changes my also improve performance with other applications, so we
encourage all users to update to version 4.0.8.
Default Folder X 4.0.8 is a free update for existing users who
purchased a license or upgrade on or after June 1, 2007. The upgrade
is $14.95 for users who bought their copies before that date. Default
Folder X costs $34.95 for a new license. Installers are available
now in English, Japanese, French, German and Danish.
