iBiz 3.1 adds new tax features and more

IGG Software today announced the release of iBiz 3.1, a new version of its popular time-billing and invoicing application for Mac OS X 10.4. Version 3.1 adds support for complex tax calculations including compounding, and whether tax is applied on a per-project or per-event basis. Invoicing, reports and startup time have also been improved. The server version now allows better reliability and options when users checkout projects and work on them away from the server.

Unmarked Software releases TextSoap 5.5.1

Unmarked Software today announced the release of TextSoap 5.5.1, available in Standard and Deluxe Editions. Version 5.5.1 is a maintenance release that fixes reported issues and adds minor refinements to the text processing utility. This release addresses several issues, including properly saving Rich Text with Attachments (RTFD) documents, using the insert text action, properly labeling document statistics and opening custom cleaners in the editor under Mac OS X 10.3.9.

The MCE 18X DVD R/RW + DL drive records at up to 18X on standard DVD-R media and up to 10X on standard DVD±R (DL) Dual/Double Layer media. The drive is compatible with iDVD, iTunes, DVD Studio Pro and Finder Burning under Mac OS X.
