The Campus MovieFest Atlanta Grand Finale, hosted by NBC’s Carson Daly, takes place this Wednesday, February 28, at the Atlanta Symphony Hall. Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival, provides over 30,000 students a year with the latest Apple laptops, camcorders, training, and a week to make their own short movies. This Atlanta Grand Finale showcases the top short movies created by Atlanta-area college students this Spring. Plus, attendees can win iPods, a Mac mini, and more just for showing up.

Nova Media updates iSync phone plugins

Nova Media has updated its iSync phone plugins to version 3.3.7. The new version features iSync support for Nokia E65 and 6300, as well as Sony Ericsson V630i mobile phones. iSync synchronizes data from Address Book and iCal to a mobile phone, extending the number of mobile phones which could be used with iSync. They require Mac OS X 10.4.7 or higher and iSync 2.3 or higher, priced at €9,95.

IFC Entertainment launches indie films on iTunes

IFC Entertainment has announced that its independent theatrical catalog will now be available on the iTunes Store. Included in the announcement are all IFC’s 2007 Independent Spirit Award nominees. This is the premier award for the independent film community and for the 2007 Spirit Award competition IFC Entertainment received the most Spirit Awards nominations of any one film company.
