WESTMINSTER, MD (March 7, 2007) – Black Cat Systems announces that
Audiocorder version 5.0.0 has been released. This version adds native
support for Intel Macs as a Universal Binary.

Audiocorder is a program which allows your Mac to act as a sophisticated
audio recorder. In one mode, it operates as a volume operated (VOX)
automated audio recorder. This allows you to set the volume that the sound
must reach to begin recording, and the volume at which it should end
recording.

MacSpeech releases ScriptPak for Toast 8

MacSpeech today released new a new ScriptPak for Toast Titanium 8. The new ScriptPak (US$10) adds almost 60 commands to iListen, allowing users to do virtually anything in Toast they would normally do using the keyboard or menus. ScriptPaks work with MacSpeech’s flagship product, iListen, whose TalkAnywhere technology allows users to dictate anywhere they would normally type. MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only solution for $99, and a software and headset with microphone for $149.

Apple CFO talks Apple TV, iPhone

While speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference yesterday, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer spoke to analysts primarily about Apple TV and iPhone, notes MacCentral. Of Apple TV, which to due to ship later this month, Oppenheimer said “Apple TV will change the way people gather and purchase their digital content.” He also noted that 400 movies and 350 TV programs are available for download. The recently announced iPhone is due to ship in the US this June.
