SnapMeasure 1.7 adds snapping icons, more

Nineblock Software today announced the release of SnapMeasure 1.7, a plug-in for Adobe Illustrator which implements a better measuring tool. Unlike the built-in tool, it snaps with visual feedback to elements on the page, can put measurement data next to the cursor, allows changes of line color, and lets you set the constrain angle and cursor key distance without opening the preferences window. This release adds selectable snapping icons, selectable measurement data fields, “HoverMeasure” (click-free segment and point data), and more.

FastMac expands TruePower line for PowerBook, iBook G3

FastMac today announced that it has expanded its TruePower line of power products with the addition of a 65-Watt AC adapter designed for Apple PowerBook G3 and iBook G3 (Clamshell) laptops. The TruePower adapter provides constant wattage output that meets or exceeds Apple-Branded adapters that are no longer manufactured, the company says. It features a built-in LED and a rugged compact design. It is compatible with all PowerBook G3 and iBook G3 (Clamshell) models. Contact sheet creation script for photographers released

Chris Paveglio is releasing a new script for Photoshop that allows professional and amateur photographers to easily make contact sheets or proof sheets that include an ordering grid of standard print sizes along with each image on the page. The script works with both Mac and Windows computers running Photoshop CS2. The photographer can modify each batch of contact sheets with print sizes appropriate for the job, and even include prices or other text, as the text area underneath each image can be customized.
