Apple has released Boot Camp 1.2 beta, the latest release of the company’s software that enables Intel-based Macs to run Windows XP and Vista.

Apple added to Bluetooth patent suit
A report on Bloomberg today notes that Apple, Dell, and Sony have been added to a Bluetooth patent lawsuit. “The nonprofit Washington Research Foundation sued Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Samsung Electronics Co. and Nokia Oyj over Bluetooth in Seattle federal court in December,” notes the story. “Apple, Dell and Sony were added as defendants March 15, along with Logitech International SA, Motorola Inc., Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB, Toshiba Corp.

This release includes a variety of weather data accuracy improvements. Specifically, they have improved the US government weather data source and fixed problems with international cities. WeatherPop is available now for free and WeatherPop Advance is available for 14-day demo, and can be purchased for US$8.
