Mariner Software releases Montage 1.2.2

Mariner Software today released Montage 1.2.2, the latest version of its screenwriting software developed for Mac OS X. New features in update include: element (character, location, camera location, time of day) suggestion lists now popup after a single character (previously required you to type 2 or more characters), as well as a number of bug fixes and tweaks. Montage is priced at US$139.95 and requires Mac OS 10.3.9 or later.

Steve Jobs outlines Apple’s ‘Green Policy’

Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs has published the company’s manifesto regarding its environmental policy. “Apple has been criticized by some environmental organizations for not being a leader in removing toxic chemicals from its new products, and for not aggressively or properly recycling its old products, writes Jobs. “Upon investigating Apple’s current practices and progress towards these goals, I was surprised to learn that in many cases Apple is ahead of, or will soon be ahead of, most of its competitors in these areas.
