Microsoft releases RDC 2.0 beta, PowerPoint Converter

Microsoft’s Mac BU today announced the availability of a free, Universal beta version of Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) Client for Mac 2.0. Built from the ground up, the RDC for Mac 2.0 beta allows users to remotely connect to computers running Microsoft Windows Vista. It features a redesigned UI, fully customizable preferences, and multiple sessions support. This Beta release expires on March 31, 2008.

TimeCache 7.0.2 released

The PandaWare Company has released an update to its Mac time and expense billing application, TimeCache. Version 7.0.2 brings improvements to invoicing, offers better support for billing workgroups’ time, makes it easier to import entries from Apple’s iCal application, and fixes a number of bugs. TimeCache 7 is priced at US$50 (free upgrade), and a free demo is available. Through August 15th, new licenses for TimeCache are US$50 per user, and registered users of TimeCache 6.x can upgrade for $30.
