WiebeTech with TrayFree: Now up to 8 bays

WiebeTech today announced new additions to its RTX TrayFree SATA storage line. Newly released units now feature up to 8-bays, including 4-bay JBOD units with FireWire, 6-bay “Hardened” ruggedized units with shock protection for drives and lockable bays, and 8-bays for massive storage capacity. RTX uses WiebeTech’s new TrayFree Technology that allows users to insert bare 3.5″ SATA hard drives — up to 1TB each — without trays or screws. Simply insert a drive into a bay and close the door.
