QuickerTek today announced a more rugged case for the popular Quicky Mac wireless booster. The company says customer feedback told them that if there was any improvement to be made, it was to make the product more road-worthy. The Quicky case is now tougher, using the latest manufacturing methods to construct a case that will deliver years of active mobile use without sacrificing wireless performance. Quicky users get up to ten times the wireless range of a stock iBook or MacBook. It is priced at US$225 and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, including Leopard.
