MacPractice, developer of MacPractice MD for physicians, MacPractice DDS for dentists, MacPractice DC for chiropractors, and MacPractice 20/20 for optometrists, today announced that it is developing applications to integrate with MacPractice software for the iPhone for doctors and patients. The President of MacPractice, Mark Hollis, describes the iPhone software within the context of the company’s competitive advantage by stating, “This summer we are committed to delivering patient registration, patient encounter entry, appointment requests, and the doctor’s schedule on the the iPhone in addition to desktop, portable and tablet computers. Developing software for the iPhone is a natural extension of our work providing productivity tools for doctors and doctors’ offices using Apple computers.”
