Kent Place Software today announced the release of BeerAlchemy 1.5, a major update to its beer recipe creation and archiving tool for Mac OS X. Version 1.5 improves the recipe management facilities of BeerAlchemy and extends it to the handling of batches. Batches are now fully integrated into the easy-to-use, folder-based, recipe management system. Additionally this release of BeerAlchemy improves the built-in recipe editor and adds the ability to export recipes to the open BeerXML standard as well as the ubiquitous .rec file format. BeerAlchemy requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and is priced at US$29.95.
