Osborn Entertainment Software today released a new and improved version of their teleprompting software for Mac OS X. Some features of A Prompter include the main capability of a smooth scrolling text window, along with many useful features such as full text editing, bookmarks, fine tuning of scroll speed, text file queues (linked files to be scrolled in series), styled text, non-verbal cues, horizontally and vertically flipped text, scrolling with a picture background, save scroll to a quicktime movie, and more. This version fixes issues with the printing, open, and save dialogs. It also improves text and picture file locating, and adds support for a mouse scroll wheel. A Prompter is priced at US$99.
