Ecamm Network today announced the availability of iChatUSBCam 2.2, the latest version of the company’s popular iChatUSBCam plug-in. This release adds support for many new USB webcams including currently available Logitech cameras, and includes other various fixes and enhancements. iChatUSBCam lets USB camera owners to take advantage of iChat AV’s video conferencing features. Previously compatible only with FireWire cameras, Apple’s iChat AV can be used with USB cameras or any other QuickTime video source. The program also adds the ability to broadcast your screen in lieu of a camera. iChatUSBCam is priced at US$9.95.
