Yazsoft today announced the availability of Speed Download 4.1.9, an important update to the the fourth generation of the company’s award-winning download manager for Mac OS X. Version 4.1.9 adds some key new features and improvements and is a recommended update for all Speed Download 4 users. Some of the new features include: big change to the file handling mechanism resulting in more accurate management of all downloaded files: under-the-hood tweaks; and includes a link to Transmission, a Bittorrent application. Speed Download requires Mac OS X 10.4.6 or later, priced at US$25.
