TransGaming, in preparation of the early 2007 release of “Myst Online: Uru Live,” two major developments are being announced. Currently in beta release, a new area of the city and an all-new, never-before-seen Age are being released tomorrow, January 19.
GameTap is also announcing that a Mac-compatible version of Myst Online is in active development by the company, which will bring the world of Uru to Macintosh users for the first time. “The original Myst game premiered on the Mac,” said Rand Miller, CEO of Cyan Worlds and creator of Myst Online. “The Mac community has always been huge supporters of the Myst franchise and we’re thrilled that we will soon be able to invite them to the newest Myst experience.”
