Hog Bay Software today announced the release of WriteRoom 2.0, which the company says provides a “distraction free writing environment.” Version 2.0 is document-based with improved auto-save. Other new features include: new rich text and wrap to page support; an”Edit in WriteRoom” plugin; new ways to customize your editing experience including block cursors, line highlights, and default paragraph formating for both plain and rich text documents; and new features for professional writers including live word counts and display of invisible whitespace characters. WriteRoom 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and is priced at US$24.95.
