Divergent Media announced today the immediate availability of ScopeBox, a high-end suite of Mac-based image monitoring, capture and analysis software for video production and post production. The solution replaces thousands of dollars of traditional hardware waveforms, vectorscopes, preview monitors and direct-to-disk recording tools, according to the company. ScopeBox is available immediately and comes in Standard and High Definition versions. The HD version works with SD or HD, NTSC or PAL QuickTime sources, while the SD version has all the functionality of the HD version but supports only standard definition sources. The SD and HD versions of ScopeBox are offered at an introductory price of US$299 and $599, respectively, through January 15, 2007.
