MacTech Magazine, the Journal of Macintosh Technology, has announced that it has implemented a new community search mechanism to yield better search results across the entire Mac technical community. Users of the MacTech search have a choice of searching MacTech.com only, a hand chosen group of high quality sites in the Mac community, or of course, the entire Web; all using Google technology. “There are a large number of web sites out there, but not all of them are related to the Mac, and many are not a good source for quality information,” said Neil Ticktin, MacTech’s Editor-in-Chief/Publisher. “MacTech‘s editorial team has hand selected the best sites in the industry, and using the industry’s leading search technologies, has set up a search mechanism with a refined scope to these quality sites.”
