Pangea Software announces Enigmo 2

Pangea Software today announced Enigmo 2, a follow-up to its popular game Enigmo. Enigmo 2 is a 3D puzzle game where the player manipulates flowing water, plasma and laser beams so that they can reach their final destination. Along the way, the player must toggle switches, deactivate force-fields, use magneto-spheres to attract charged particles, and perform many other feats of Newtonian physics, notes the announcement. Enigmo 2 is scheduled to ship in mid-February, but an exact date or price has not yet been set.

The MicroOptical Corporation introduced its myvu personal media viewer to the US market at the Macworld Expo. The myvu viewer, which comprises eyewear with built in video viewing and audio systems, “revolutionizes the way people watch video with an Apple iPod.” By connecting the small, ultra-light “binocular” eyewear viewer to an iPod, users can watch video with a large image right in front of their eyes. Social media application for Mac announced

Imeem today announced the beta launch of its free, social media platform designed specifically for Mac users. Available today, imeem’s platform gives Mac users the ability to share rich media and recommend new music, films, video and digital photos to friends, easily create and subscribe to blogs, send instant messages, find new friends and form public and private groups, called “meems.” The software is free and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
