Other World Computing (OWC) today announced significant price reductions on its complete line of Neptune FireWire storage solutions. OWC’s Neptune solutions all include all connecting cables, Intech HD SpeedTools and EMC/Dantz Retrospect Backup Software (Mac/PC), and are supported by a one-year OWC warranty. Pricing for the Neptune drives ranges from US$99.95 for the 80GB version, to $279.99 for the 400GB model.

The agreement, structured as a third party asset purchase and a license to OWC, was negotiated among PowerLogix, OWC, and PowerLogix’s secured banking partner. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
