Softchaos ships Universal Binary of Webstractor

Softchaos today announced it is shipping a Universal Binary version of its award-winning web content capturing and processing application, Webstractor. Version 1.6 now runs natively on Intel-based Macs giving customers the ability to quickly automate the research and retrieval of Web content to create customized documents and reports. “Webstractor’s performance on the new Intel-based Macs is absolutely fantastic and we are very pleased to see performance increases of between 2x and 4x,” said Reza Farhad, CEO of Softchaos.

Image-Puzzle 2.1 has been released as a Universal Binary for Intel-based Macs. Image-Puzzle assembles a big mosaic image using many small images as pieces. Many preferences can be applied like resolution, iPhoto albums, and the shape of the puzzle pieces. The puzzles computed by the screen saver can be automatically exported into iPhoto.
