Parliant today announced that it is shipping a major new release of PhoneValet Message Center, the latest version of the company’s Mac telephony product for small businesses, homes, and home offices. Version 4 now records all inbound and outbound calls and stores them in a database for easy search and retrieval. The release also adds powerful archiving of all those recordings to CD or DVD to share with clients or to help manage hard drive space. The software is distributed in Universal Binary format, and is fully compatible with Intel-based Macs.

ezGear releases powerStick and ezCharge in black

ezGear today announced the introduction of the ezCharge for iPod Onyx Black and the powerStick for iPod Onyx Black. The powerStick (US$32.98) is an auxiliary power source for use with all iPods with dock connectors. It uses 4 AA batteries and can increase the use of an iPod 3 to 4 times the regular battery life. The powerStick comes with an on/off switch and LED, and charges the iPod battery while attached.

Forbes: ‘Apple’s Future Looks Bright Despite Intel Issues’

Analyst Andrew Neff of Bear Stearns has lowered the price target of Apple due to what he says is “transition issues” with the new Intel-based Macs, reports Forbes. The analyst did, however, maintain an “outperform” rating on the stock due to confidence in demand for iPods, Macs and more innovative products. “Looking ahead, we remain optimistic,” the analyst said.
