SignalSuite 2.0.5 released with Universal Binary support

Faber Acoustical today announced its support for Intel-based Macs with the release of SignalSuite 2 as a Universal Binary, the latest release of the company’s real-time audio test signal generator.  Although all Faber Acoustical software runs on Intel-based Macs via Rosetta, Universal Binary versions of its SignalScope analyzer, as well as SignalScope Pro, are expected to be released within the next few weeks. SecureMac today announced the release of MacScan 2.1, a major update to its anti-spyware application. Version 2.1 is now a Universal Application, which will run natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. LaCie unveils LCD Monitor Frame

LaCie today introduced the LaFrame for 100 Series Monitors. “By eliminating distractions from the user’s field of vision, LaFrame creates visual comfort for the user. It allows full focus on the task at hand, thus enhancing productivity even in the busiest open-space corporate offices.” The company says LaFrame will ship with all LaCie 119 (US$469) and 120 Monitors ($719), a series designed to ensure documents are displayed in their best light thanks to high contrast ratios of up to 1000:1.
