Waterfall Software today released a new update to Wallet, its popular application for securing and organizing personal data. Available today, Wallet 2.5 brings complete compatibility with Apple’s new Intel-based Macs, letting users seamlessly run the same version of Wallet on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. MacTech releases Office 2004 for Mac on Rosetta benchmark data

MacTech today released an extensive benchmark study of Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac running on the latest Intel-based Macs. MacTech‘s goal was to see how well Office applications performed under Rosetta (Apple’s technology to dynamically translate PowerPC-based applications to work on Intel-based Macs). The large suite of over 1000 tests was performed comparing the PowerBook G4, MacBook Pro, and the Intel-based iMac.

Econ Technologies today announced the release of DayChaser 2.0.1, the latest update to its calendar and scheduling application for Mac OS X. Version 2.0.1 fixes problems relating to international time settings. It also fixes problems related to iCal document importing. Additionally, several new mini category icons have been added.
